METALLICA x MADSAKI
A special collaboration T-shirt by the American rock band METALLICA and renowned artist MADSAKI.
MADSAKI has been a devoted METALLICA fan since 1984, when he was an elementary school student living in New York, fully immersed in the band in real time. To this day, he continues to listen to METALLICA without change.
While METALLICA-related merchandise and collaborations typically feature motifs selected from existing art books, this collaboration uses entirely new, original artworks created by MADSAKI himself—born from his personal experiences, deep love for METALLICA, and the perspective of a true fanatic who proudly calls himself a METALLICA maniac.
These artworks, expressed through silkscreen printing, not only resonate with hardcore METALLICA fans like MADSAKI, but are also designed to be easy to wear even for those unfamiliar with METALLICA.
The T-shirts will be released in four styles: “METAL UP YOUR ASS,” “SEEK & DESTROY,” “FUK EM UP,” and “EET FUK”—each featuring powerful titles, phrases, and graphics that symbolize METALLICA.
This collaboration is a rare and special one for fans of both METALLICA and MADSAKI.
